Susan
Ansara
Susan
Ansara is one of the most respected voices in
International Education in the country.
Susan
graduated from Wellesley College with a BA in Geography
before joining the Peace Corps where she served in
Tunisia for 2 years teaching English as a Foreign
Language at the University of Tunis. Susan returned to
the US and earned a Masteršs Degree in Applied
Linguistics from New York University.
Susan
created, taught in and staffed the ESL department at
SUNY Stony Brook where she remained for over 20 years,
eventually creating their Intensive English Language
Institute. Susan later became Director of International
Education at SUNY Oswego, a position she held for over
10 years.
More
recently Susan re-located to the University of South
Florida where she was the Director of Study Abroad.
Susan is now officially retired; however she remains
active in NAFSA and as a private consultant on
international education.
Dr.
Edward DeClair
Dr. Edward
DeClair is Assistant Dean for International Programs at
Lynchburg College in Lynchburg, Virginia. He completed
his B.A. in French and International Relations at the
University of South Florida. Dr. DeClair received his
M.A. in International Affairs from Florida State
University where he also completed his doctoral studies
in Political Science.
His
published work focuses on France, the European Union,
and far right extremism. He has also published in the
area of experiential education.
Ed is a
zealot for international education, and he has led or
co-led study abroad programs to Argentina, Austria,
Belgium, Costa Rica, the Czech Republic, France, Great
Britain, Greece, Italy, Spain Turkey, and Vietnam.
Chef
Giovanni Delrosario
Giovanni
Delrosario graduated from the University of Nevada at
Las Vegas with both BS and M Ed degrees. Chef Delrosario
is currently Associate Professor at Los Angeles Trade
Technical College and a Consulting Faculty and Program
Developer for LA Community College District.
Giovanni
was a Professor and Director of the Culinary Arts
Program at the Community College of Southern Nevada, and
has taught at California State University at Long Beach,
the University of Nevada at Las Vegas, and Truckee
Meadows Community College.
Chef
Delrosario is certified as a Culinary Administrator,
Culinary Educator, and Executive Chef with the American
Culinary Federation. He is currently the Apprenticeship
Coordinator for the ACF Western Region.
Giovanni
has lead culinary tours to the Culinary Olympics in
Erfurt, Berlin, and Frankfurt Germany, the Hotelympia in
London, and the WACS conferences in Jerusalem, Israel
and Melbourne Australia. He has lived and consulted in
Moscow, Sofia, Bucharest, Montreaux, Venice, Buenos
Aires, Istanbul, and Manila.
He has
been awarded Vocational Teacher of the Year in 2004, and
Educator of the Year in 2001 at La Trade Technical
College; Educator of the Year in Las Vegas 1997, the
Burlington Outstanding Teaching Faculty at CCSN 1993,
and the NISOD National Teaching Excellence Award in
Austin, Texas in 1994.
He was
voted as Chef of the Year in Las Vegas in 1994 and
received the ACF Western Regional Chef Professionalism
Award in 1996 in Denver, CO. Chef Delrosario has won
numerous gold medals in culinary competitions.
Dr. Good
is a previous President of John Cabot University in
Rome, and was instrumental in the establishment of
American Pacific University in Ho Chi Minh City,
Vietnam.
Michael
also plays an important role in the continuing
development of the Scuola Lorenzo de Medici in Florence,
Rome and Tuscania, Italy. |
